A series page and an individual variant serve different purposes. A series describes a range; a variant identifies a particular configuration within that range. A matching series name alone is insufficient for an interchangeability claim.
Our catalogue retains the manufacturer's technical tables and application groupings. Where a table lists the same model twice with different values, keep both rows in view and ask for clarification using the nameplate. Do not select a value merely because it is larger.
An application grouping, such as marine propulsion or power generation, is not a spare-part fitment record. A component needs its own verified identifier and compatibility evidence.
Browse the engine catalogue, then use the manufacturer source link on the relevant page to check the original data.
Example: matching power ranges with different emissions categories
These 125KVA–165KVA Stage IV and 125KVA–165KVA Stage III listings share a power range but occupy different manufacturer emissions categories. Check the category and the full engine and generator-set identifiers before comparing them. The category alone does not establish compliance for your destination or compatibility with existing equipment.
Keep a copy of the source link and identify the exact table row in your enquiry. Where the nameplate and the table disagree, send both for review. See the product identification guide.
