Start with the complete nameplate. Send one clear photograph of the whole plate and another of the product. Preserve punctuation and suffixes when copying a model identifier.
A product-family name is a useful starting point. The detailed variant table on each product page may contain several ratings or configurations. Match the full identifier and application before discussing a replacement.
For spare parts, include the number printed on the removed part or packaging, the engine or equipment serial number, the required quantity, and photos of connectors or mounting points. Appearance alone does not establish compatibility.
